Refund & Cancellation Policy

The Calitzdorp Station

At The Calitzdorp Station, we value your business and strive to provide a seamless and fair experience for all our guests. Please read our refund and cancellation policy carefully before confirming your booking.

Booking & Payment Terms

  • Full payment is required upfront to secure your reservation.

  • No booking is confirmed without full payment.

  • Proof of payment must be submitted to finalize the booking.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. Refunds for cancellations are processed according to the timeline below:

  • 7 or more days before arrival: 100% refund

  • 3 to 6 days before arrival: 50% refund

  • Less than 48 hours before arrival: No refund

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to info@thestation-calitzdorp.co.za.

No-Shows

  • Guests who do not arrive and do not cancel will be considered a no-show.

  • No-shows will be charged the full amount of the booking with no refund issued.

Early Departures

  • No refunds will be issued for early check-outs or shortened stays once checked in.

Changes to Bookings

  • Changes to bookings (e.g., dates or guest numbers) are subject to availability and must be requested at least 72 hours before check-in.

  • Additional charges may apply depending on the changes made.

Force Majeure

  • The Calitzdorp Station is not liable for refunds due to events beyond our control, such as extreme weather, power outages, or government restrictions. However, we may offer a date change or credit note at our discretion.

General Terms

  • Refunds will be processed to the original method of payment within 7–10 business days.

  • Bank and transaction fees (if applicable) are non-refundable.

  • All guests agree to these terms upon confirming a reservation.
